If you have watched the shows, you find that there is
"one" thing which remains constant throughout the
series: and that is that security is vital for the
smooth operation of Shado. Anyone who has had contact
with "any" Shado member with regards to a UFO incident
"must" eventually be administerd the amnesia
procedure. If Shado was to somehow warn the man that
his wife was plotting to kill him, he would then more
than likely report it to the police - or someone, and
they in turn would ask how he knows about this or
where he got his information and so on . . .
Plain and simply, no one must know of Shados doings.
When Straker explained this to both Freeman and
Foster, they knew that there was no other way but to
let the "triangle" run its course with the threesome
having absolutely no memory of Shado. If you watch the
end of the episode again, you'll see the looks on
their faces that Straker is "right" no matter how much
they dislike the situation. Hope this helps.
