I like the wigs I really do.Purple and Silver compliment each other perfectly.A metallic blue would have done as well, but purple was inspirational. Ok I had a gripe.I think I have been a member of this group long enough to have a gripe about something. I'm afraid one more mention of the purpose of the wigs did it for me.Apologies. None needed, Mark. If this group become a sterile forum where
differing viewpoints cannot be expressed then it be a very sad state of affairs. When I posted my response to the initial message, I was responding to what looked like somebody telling us what to talk about or not to talk about as it suited him. His words were, IIRC, on the lines of "Can we change the subject - I'm fed up of people looking deeply into Moonbase wigs". As I pointed out, there hadn't been anything like looking deeply into said subject, it had only been going for a couple of days, in response to somebody asking a question. Fair enough if it's been covered before in this forum, but there are so many messages it'd take ages to find it if it exists.
I just felt that the tone of the message was a bit sneery - I suppose it's how one perceives it - and responded as I did, namely that this forum is for any and all subjects relating to UFO to be discussed, no matter how trivial. If I am seen as objecting to something, it was the idea that some subjects are too trivial to bother with. In no way did I say that differing viewpoints cannot be expressed, I just thought at the time that Mark sounded as if he was saying that just because he did not like the subject that was being discussed that we should knock it on the head. That was how I saw his comment, and that was how I responded. pointy100 <[hidden email]> wrote: If this group become a sterile forum where differing viewpoints cannot be expressed then it be a very sad state of affairs. I know the feeling - we all have off days, I read your message in a particular way and responded as I did. "To each his own" comes to mind regarding how a message can be perceived.
