UFO / Billy Idol

Hi all,
Here 's an interesting story:
I was at a Billy Idol concert last week in the US. At concerts,
while awaiting the acts arrival on stage, they usually play some
music through the stage sound system to keep the crowd entertained.
Well there I am waiting and all of a sudden I hear the UFO theme
music blaring out of the speakers! I looked around dumbfounded as
my "UFO world" clashed with my "music world". It was a surreal
experience having this music piped through the sound stage and being
listened to by 1000 other people. Usually it's just me and the TV.
Had to pinch myself to make sure I wasn't having a "Mindbender"!

Yes, apparently he's been doing that for years -- every few months
I get a "Billy Idol Concert Report", saying that the UFO theme was
played before the show started...

Hi Amelia,
I'm sorry, but I cant help you with this. All I know is that is a big fan
of the UFO series & indeed most movies in general. Ultimately however, it
is not solely down to him what music is played prior to his shows.
I assume that that piece of music was considered suitable for this occasion.
