UFO CARLTON DVD BOXED SETS REGION 2 (EASTER EGGS)

Brian Serridge
Can anyone tell me if there are any easter eggs on the region 2 Carlton boxed sets? If so, could you explain PRECISELY in step-by-step instructions how to access them?

I believe Vol 7 has an easter egg?

Thanks and Merry Christmas & Happy New year to everyone,

BRIAN

I don't recall that... I think there may have been a mastering error so
that there is some content that is not accessible via the menus (although
DVD ripping software can find it)... although I may be confusing this set
with something else...

... anyone remember?

Hi,

I am sorry to sound dense (again) but what do you mean by Easter Eggs? I'm intrigued. Do you mean special or hidden features? if so, I have never heard them called Easter eggs before...

Thanks,

Griff

Yes, an "Easter Egg" is something that is hidden on a DVD, and can be
accessed using your remote in ways that are not obvious.

Of course, some DVD menus are so poorly designed that some extras
may *seem* hidden... but "Easter Eggs" are usually intentionally
designed to be hard to find.

Yes, they are also silly features buried inside of serious
computer programs, like wicked Shoot-Em Up video
games hidden inside of serious application software
programs like spreadsheets or design engineering software.

It would be nice to have a one-stop-shop outlining what easter eggs are in
various dvds and software, and how to access them.

The only one of which I know is the Skyhooks DVD where if you tab through
the menu - there is a part of the background that lights up and you get
extra material

That site *does* list an Easter Egg for the UK UFO DVD volume 7 (Singing SID),
however since this is listed as being accessible via a menu item, I don't
think this qualifies as a true Easter Egg:
