I always thought that he was telepathic. He knew what was going on because he read minds. He knew everything about SHADO including interceptors because he read Foster's mind. It was probably a short story. HEHEHEHE

Sorry about that, I thought I may be in trouble with this

Despite ESP allowing Croxley visions of future events,
