UFO DVD

EHG916
Great to see set doing so well in England sales. Lets hope it does not get
lost when the USA is suppose to get DVDs. Like trying to buy the tapes or
the Laser Disks. Not a word of them being sold in the US when they first
came out. Thanks to EBay I found a set. Now I want DVDs. UFO fan from the
start in 1970. Elaine

Re: God Help Me...

OK, I took the big plunge and ordered the box set from
Amazon.co.uk and took advantage of the VAT-less price
to the States. This is *the* most I have ever paid for
a set of DVDs. I'm sure the A&E discs will be fine,
but I doubt they'll carry even half of the extra
goodies.

As for those "pre-orders" on eBay...I bid on one of
them up to my max of $50--and the reserve price STILL
wasn't met. When I contacted the seller, he declined
to tell me what the reserve price was--plus he's
charging $9 for shipping. So obviously he's
preordering them--and getting $9 on top of his total
cost. In other words, don't bother; there outta be a
law about people selling items which they don't have
in hand.
