Hi all,
I just read that Cablevision (presumably a US cable company?) will have the rights to "VOOM" suite of 15 HDTV channels beginning July 1st. One of these channels is "Family Room HD", which broadcasts the HDTV versions of UFO on a daily basis. So that may be good news for anyone here who has Cablevision cable... (unfortunately, I have Comcast) Marc |
Cablevision is in New Jersey. They also go under Optimum Online.

I don't get YES since I have comcast, Cablevision does get it. I'm stuck
with the Philly channels. FIOS gets YES and a few other good channels. Any word on satellite TV providing UFO in HDTV? I see a brief mention in Marc's link about them adding HDTV channels to Direct TV. We can always hope. Lorraine and Charlie |

Well, that channel "Family Room HD" is already available on Dish Network. And in the race to have the most HDTV channels, it is certainly possible that it may show up eventually on DirecTV, Comcast, etc. Of course, by the time that happens, Family Room HD will probably no longer be showing UFO... :-) At least, that's what happened to me with the Sci-Fi Channel, which dropped UFO before our cable company picked up the channel...
