UFO Megaset Release Date

Hi all,

According to A&E, their upcoming UFO Megaset will be released September
30th. However, I just looked at the listing for this
on Amazon.com, and it lists the release date as August 26th!

As usual, bad information is everywhere... I assume the A&E
date is correct, but we'll just have to wait & see...

And I just looked at the Barnes&Noble website, and it lists
the UFO Megaset as coming out October 28th!!!

So pick a date... any date... :-)

Internet and Street releases?

In the past, you could buy the A&E sets one month
in advance if you bought it from A&E directly.
However, to do this, you had to pay full retail
price plus had some pretty expensive shipping
cost (and perhaps tax, too). So most people
waited the extra month to get a discounted price,
no tax, and free shipping.

Given that release pattern, I'd say that the UFO
megaset will be released 9/30 if you buy it direct
from A&E, and 10/28 if you buy it anywhere else.

Gotcha. Thanks, Marc. I'll wait for the lower price.
Usually I collect these things as they come out and
then watch in horror as the cool Megasets arrive,
sometimes at a lower price than the individuals
(Space:1999, The Prisoner).

This time I was smart and not only will the Megaset
come out, but with individual keepcases! I perfer
this, although some people like the smaller
multi-cases.

Who cares about Amazon and Barnes & Noble, the important date is
whenever deepdiscountdvd.com has their release date here in the USA!

Yes, I just checked (I bet Marc did as well) and it doesn't appear
yet :-).

Yes, I've checked DeepDiscountDvd a few times, but it's not listed yet.
BestBuy.com has it coming out on 10/28, so it appears that the street
date.

DeepDiscountDVD.com now has the MegaSet listed for 10/28/03.

No picture yet (even though we got the sneak peek here).

If it was a smaller box, a plastic box, it wasn't the
Mageset. I can't imagine it would come out that early
in Borders. The Megaset will be individual volumes in
a box. The box sets available now are about an inch
and a half thick and open up like a book.

Ha! Thanks I believe your right and I think there was only to boxes in the
collection and on site it did say it was not the entire series. Well, I best get
saving. I normally get my collections from Colombia house (Star trek TNG
and -The Prisoner to date - Got to Love those blazers and pumps - Paterick
Mcgoon Does mega job with mega surreal scripts LOL) Columbia House do
installment plans which help. so i am not sure when i will be able to get my UFO set
for Colombia house at the moment are not listing it or the old set

If any suggest some where else to get it on installment plan from the net
That would be F>A<B
