UFO Movie Clips page updated!

Hi all,

On my "UFO Series Home Page", I've updated the "movie clips" page so
that all of the clips from the series are now higher quality than
before. That is, the picture quality is better, the picture size is
slightly larger, and the frame rate is now running at 24 frames per
second instead of 8. Here's a link:

Also, I've added two new clips -- one showing the end credits
sequence minus the credits (an extra on the Japanese and French UFO
DVDs), plus the battle scene at the beginning of THE CAT WITH TEN
LIVES.

Of course, many people here already have the DVDs, these movie clips
probably aren't too exciting, but I think they still serve a purpose
to someone who is stumbling across the site for the first time, and
either has a vague memory of once seeing the show or has never heard
of it.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions on other clips I should add?
That is, scenes that are about a minute long that might motivate
someone to look for the series on DVD, or revive a favorite memory of
a series that they haven't seen in 20+ years?

Marc,

I think a clip from an Alien should be added. Maybe the one from
ORDEAL where the Aliens are kidnapping Foster (that would please
certain Foster fans, too :-) Or a clip from A QUESTION OF PRIORITIES
(when the blind old Lady meets the Alien for the first time),
SURVIVAL (again, Foster meets the Alien; this would show the
spacesuits, too; or the rifle attack of the Alien which would show
Moonbase also).

There aren't many episodes with Aliens in it but I wouldn't use a
clip from IDENTIFIED or THE COMPUTER AFFAIR because the Aliens aren't
very sinister in this eps. IMO. There are THE SOUND OF SILENCE and
THE SQUARE TRIANGLE, too but I don't know a certain scene at the
moment.

But speaking of COMPUTER AFFAIR: how about a clip from the Mobiles
(when they arrive or the battle of the first Mobile with the UFO,
respectively)?

What about Straker explaining the purpose of the Aliens in
IDENTIFIED? Or from EXPOSED when Jackson interrogates Foster about
his sighting?

Enough suggestions so far? :-)
