UFO Questions

That's "Youfoe," NOT "U.F.O."

First, does UFO count as one season or two shortened seasons? I
heard that about half the episodes were filmed over 6 months after
the first half and there is clearly a difference in the style and
content of the shows later episodes (I will let y'all debate which
ones are better).

Second, I have heard a lot about GA's "bitter" divorce but no
specifics. I did, however, read that he married a secretary from
Space 1999 shortly afterwards. Does this mean what I think? Any
info?

One really, or 'series' as we would say in British English.
There was a break in the filming as you say though, and there are
some noticeable differences, no George Sewell in the second set
for example. As for which ones are better, we do argue about
this from time to time! I prefer the first chunk, not too keen
on the paranormal emphasis in the later episodes.

No idea (personally).

Mary Robins was actually Brian
Johnston's secretary and Gerry
Anderson first met her at the end of
shooting party for THE DAY AFTER
TOMORROW:INTO INFINITY(1975) TV
pilot. They married in 1981.
