UFO Series DVD's / Video's.

Hello to all !
This is my first time on your site. Great to see that this terrific show still has so many keen and active fans. Unfortunately it would appear that it is long forgotten here in Australia. Which brings me to my query / request to anyone out there that may be able to assist me.
I have been trying to obtain copies of this excellent series on either video or DVD for years here in Australia. Unfortunately through my inquires it would appear that the same has never been released in Australia or re-shown on cable T.V. (worst luck). Space 1999 was only released in limited release box sets earlier this year.
Is there anyone out there that may be able to provide me with information or advise as to whom i may contact to find out when DVD's of this show may be released in Australia or sourced elsewhere ??

Well, your wait is almost at an end... Umbrella Entertainment
are planning on releasing UFO on DVD next year in Australia,
possibly as soon as May. Or, if you don't mind the region-free
UK sets, they can sometimes be found at a nice discount.

Many thanks for your email dated 2nd December 2004 and advice within the same regarding the release of UFO 'DVD Box Set'. I have finally received a reply to my email sent to 'Umbrella Entertainment' upon receipt of your advice. They have inturn advised that the 'DVD'S' will be released here in Australia in the second half of next year.
Unfortunately then I will have to wait even further until such time as they are reduced by retailers to a realistic and affordable price as was the case with Space 1999. What's another 6 to 8 month wait after 20 + Years ?

The *second* half of next year? It would seem that every time we
hear an update from Umbrella Entertainment, the UFO is delayed
further. It seems like it's always 6 months away... I think
the original release date was supposed to be several months ago!
