I have to agree with Denise on the two seasons issue. I also thought in 1970
and 1971 that UFO had two seasons, because of the way it was played on
Canadian television. Eps were re-run in the summers of both 1970 and 71 -
believe me - I remember this all too well as both summers were catastrophic
for my family and I cherished that one hour a week of UFO as means of
escaping the sadness which enveloped us.

Actually, James, when I first saw the show as a teenager, I thought it went
two seasons for that very reason. A weekly show usually had 13 eps a
season, so that in a year's time, you had season one in the fall, season two
in the spring, and summer for reruns. As an adult, I've realized that
Britain doesn't use that system, but it still seems strange to have so many
episodes in a season!
