Here, here! I'd certainly be happy with the 2 or 3 disc
"near complete" set....(let's all remember that the 1999
discs *weren't* absolutely complete, fantastic though
they are).

That's not a silly idea; most of The Secret Service's
scores are by and large variations on the main theme.
Personally, I love the idea of set releases unto themselves
(ala the 1999 discs). As much as I enjoyed it, I was
a *little* disappointed with the combined Supercar / XL5
disc, knowing that there was enough surviving material for
a separate disc of each to be produced, (even if some of
the XL5 cues are a little repetitive). But of course, cost
and the dilapidated nature of some of the Supercar stuff
were apparently the main considerations resulting in the
combo in the first place, (I guess Ralph can confirm this).
Nah, put me down for a 3,4,5 or 6 disc set if that's what
it takes to give us a *true* set. Just put me in with the
obsessives ;-)
