Dear Teresa and all:
I agree with you on the air supply problem - must have been an "oops!" from
the production crew designing the suits. Maybe $$ raised its ugly head and
the crew were told to make 'em as cheaply as possible. The original Trek
certainly had to bow to production costs. I seem to remember reading
somewhere that the original Trek cost around $100,000/eps at a time when
shows like Bewitched cost about $10,000 (and that included star salaries!).
I wonder how much $$ the UFO production teams had to play with per episode?
