The installer?

When I tried this link, the game loaded into my web browser,
and the game played in the browser!

Or are you saying that the Macromedia Flash installer
didn't work?

In any case, there's nothing I can do about it... this
is a game that someone else developed and is hosted
on someone else's website. I'm just the messenger!

I got the installer to work. The maker created it in the lkatest version of
Shockwave Flash. The installer from Macromedia was the issue.
Too bad, you can't download and play it off line.

Kewl! No probs on w2k/ie5.5. BTW, flash comes with DreamWeaver,
and may become the new 'streaming' standard now that Sorenson
have become involved (who make the best Mac codecs, by far).
Anything to rid us of those pesky "Real" streams must be a good
thing IMO.

I was able to get the game to play at work. I had to use a stand-alone
installer for shockwave. The game puts a UFO.dcr and UFO.php files into your
temp dir. But the rest of the game [workings] are on the server and
therefore your not able to play it off line. Too bad ;(
Its a nifty little game. I wonder who created it. I'd like to e-mail him. If
anyone can find out who did it, please let me know.

Well, I can see the game in MSIE but on Opera it keeps asking for file
ufo.dcr and sending me to Macromedia to get it - somehow I don't think it's
there.
