Hi James,
here's the page: http://www.isoshado.org/3/tributo_ed_mike.htm it's a tribute page to Ed and Mike (both in Italian and English). And here's the direct link to the pict in question: http://www.isoshado.org/3/tributo_ed_mike_files/Ed/2000_Hampton_Court.jpg Thanks, teresa ----- Original Message ----- Da : James Williams <[hidden email]> A : [hidden email] Oggetto : re: [SHADO] "Cmdr Straker" Relative Data : Sun, 16 Sep 2007 07:42:33 -0700 (PDT) > This is reply #2: > > > I don't speak Italian, and cannot follow yourwebsite. > > If you can forward the pic or a DIRECT link to it, I > can identify members I recognize, George (Ed) had 3 > daughters (all living), and son Daniel who died very > young whom I never met, so I will know them & myself > and others, FYI. > > Jim > > > > --- "[hidden email]" > <[hidden email]> wrote: > > > I > > forward a link to that pict? |

And if so, what did they think about all those crazy UFO fans wanting to meet their father? :-) On my website, I've got a photo of UFO fan-thrown birthday party for Ed in 1976. You can see Ed's son and daughter(s) in the photos. For example: http://ufoseries.com/conventions/edParty5.jpg Marc |

I can only speak for myself, but I don't care to know all the "inside juicy" stuff that went on in an actor's life. You father-in-law was a great actor who gave us a lot of pleasure and was excellent in a series that remains one of the most interesting and enjoyable in science-fiction TV. Every family deserves it's privacy and you have been very kind to share what you did. I just hope your wife and sisters-in-law know that their father was appreciated by many people around the world. Hi Jim,
If I'm not intruding too much, may I ask you if you're married to Jess, Serina or Gina? Thanks, teresa ----- Original Message ----- Teresa: Neither, I nor my wife nor either of her two sisters is in that photo. If that photo was taken in 2000, as the link tends to imply, the four of us were all in our early thirties. I don't identify any of the females, I'm sorry I could not be of more help. Jim |

This is TRULY BIZARRE in view of the revelation that this guy is not known to the Bishop family! I mean he actually describes the family as "introverted" and describes the impact of "divorce" and the "death" of a child. What did this guy want from Ed's fans? I know everyone does some silly things at some stage in their life, but this takes the cake. I'm speechless. If he wanted attention, I'm sure a psychotherapist would give him some.
Z. James Williams <[hidden email]> wrote: Marc: The short answer is "not really." We were all too young to comprehend that kind of thing when the series was on the air and after a short run like that (26 episodes)the "frenzy of reknown" as they called it was well worn off, mostly gone, by the time we were in our teens in the 1980's. However, not completely though, as George (Ed) was still a working actor and the family lived in the UK a lot of the time where UFO was FAR better known than in the states. The two divorces hit Serina , Jessica and Georgina hard-top that off with their brother's death and family home in a village, not in London proper, and you have a pretty introverted family in general. So in high school they did have a "claim to fame" but the girls never told me any extraordinary stories about that. I wish I had a ton of inside info to tell you- juicy stories, but in all honesty I don't. Today, we live a unknown existence dividing our time between Newport RI, and London.
