Hi all,
I got a catalog for the upcoming Gerry Anderson auction on February 7th
(hosted by Comet Miniatures in the UK). For the most part, the items
are from New Captain Scarlet, but there are some UFO items:
Lot 89: UFO promotional leaflet (this features the various black
and white ads that appeared in USA TV guides in 1972-3). Guide
price 24 - 40 pounds.
Lot 98: Pre-production Product Enterprise Interceptor and UFO.
Guide price 80 - 150 pounds.
Lot 99: Pre-production Product Enterprise Skydiver. Guide price
50 - 80 pounds.
Lot 100: Pre-production Product Enterprise SHADO Mobile. Guide
price 50 - 80 pounds.
Lot 101: Leather-bound synopsis for a proposed new series of
UFO (presumably this is from the late 1990's / early 2000's).
Guide price 80 - 150 pounds.
Lot 102: Complete Book of UFO (Chris Bentley). Guide price
30 - 50 pounds)
Lot 203: Proposed new UFO series logo (print). Guide price
50 - 75 pounds.
Lot 204: Proposed new UFO series spacecraft and logo (print).
Guide price 60 - 80 pounds.
Lot 212: Product Enterprise mobile (unpainted) test shots.
Guide price 150 - 250 pounds.
Lot 213: Product Enterprise mobiles 1 and 2 (bad
weathering) test shots. Guide price 150 - 250 pounds.
Lot 214: Product Enterprise prototype Gay Ellis figure
(with old abandoned head design that doesn't look like
Gay Ellis). Guide price 250 - 400 pounds.
Lot 221: 24" replica Sky One model. Guide price
500 - 800 pounds.
Lot 222: 36" radio controlled Skydiver model.
Guide price 2000 - 3000 pounds.
Anyone planning on bidding on any of these items?
Usually these things sell for way too much money,
so I generally don't bother. I would be interested
in reading the synopsis for the proposed new series
of UFO (although a photocopy or scan would be just
fine with me!)
