UFO music heard in "Top Gear"

I missed that particular episode, but saw their second attempt
at making amphibs.

Those boys are a real scream....that's one of the few shows
where I laugh so hard at times I have difficulty breathing.

I think I might have that version of the UFO cover on a junky
vinyl LP I bought back in the mid 1980's of sci-fi theme music.

it's from the 2CD "Battlestar Galactica - The A to Z of Fantasy TV Themes" including cover versions from a lot of TV shows (including the Gerry Anderson ones). This cover is from the The City from Prague Philharmonic conducted by Derek Wadsworth. Here is the track list:
