UFO on DVD

Hi all,

I was just scanning through some of the discussions on the ITC_DVD
discussion group, and I'm excerpting a part of a message from BBC
telecinist Steve Roberts, who was complaining about the quality of
the Space:1999 DVDs:

-----
Well, perhaps you should avail yourself of the first volume of
Carlton releases and compare it to the bloody awful A&E version...
Seriously, in absolutely *every* respect, from the stunning menus, to
the sound and picture quality, the Carlton disc pisses all over the
shit that A&E put out... And yet, it could still be better - Having
seen the incredible new transfers of three episodes of 'UFO' that
Carlton have asked us to do, you can only pity what the DVD consumer
on both sides of the Atlantic has to put up with re Space:1999..
----

Hey, is this good news or what? :-)

Not if you're a Space:1999 fan! ;-)

There was a space traveler named Wright
Who liked to go faster than light
He started one day
In a relative way
And came back the previous night!
