UFO one of the best programs ever made!

James Finch
I have loved UFO since I first saw it on American Television in the
early 1970's, and had not seen episode for many years until this year
when I broke down and bought the megaset for $50 from someone on ebay.
I was astonished at how pristine the prints are. Vivid color,
excellent audio (wish it was stereo, but the technology was very
limited when this show was produced in 1969), and just about
everything else about the show is amazing to me even to this day. The
acting, stories, special effects and production values are stupendous.
I am sad that so many of the characters are now just figments of our
memories. I am working on a movie remake of a similar show, The
Invaders, in conjunction with Larry Cohen and Alan Armer, and while
Roy Thinnes once worked with Ed Bishop in Doppelganger (Journey To The
Far Side Of The Sun), it is sad that Ed is not with us today to
perhaps address a remake or rekindling of UFO. I would like to see
that series resurface today. A military organization dealing with
UFOs as explored in shows like Stargate and others is a plausible idea
and I say "why not?" to seeing a show like UFO return to TV or even
movies someday. Your thoughts are welcome and I am glad to be a part
of the organization.
