Hi all,
Just watched "The Responsibility Seat" and it's reminded me of a bizarre experience I had many years ago. I'd accepted an invitation to have dinner with a man thirty years my senior that I'd met through some mutual friends, with the understanding of spending a pleasant (but platonic) evening listening to his hi-fi system, which was incredibly expensive and by all accounts sounded fantastic. (I'm a bit of an audiophile). Having got me settled with a drink, he picked a CD from his collection (which resembled an HMV store) and selected a track. Imagine the shock I felt when I realised it was "Forest Murmurs" by Wagner - I nearly choked myself! Fortunately, he took my reaction and subsequent stunned silence as evidence of my being seriously impressed by the hi-fi system I wasn't going to even *try* and explain the real reason (LOL). I've not ever been able to tell this story to anyone who would relate to it before now forgive the indulgence <vbg>. Has anyone else got any weird UFO related experiences to tell? Sarah |
I had not watched UFO for almost 25 years and I could only remember the theme, the pilots jumping down a slot, Ayshea's sashay, and a man in a mini car going round and round. I thought that Ed Bishop had died several years ago. I bought the DVD sets almost two years ago and started joining UFO clubs. Imagine my dismay when a few months ago Ed died. I got alot of flack because I refused to believe it at first. I do wish I had had the chance to write him and tell him how much I enjoyed his acting.
