Happy new year!
I'm curious, does anyone here have an original copy of the UFORIA II
video from Fanderson, and can make a digital (DVD) copy of it? It
seems that the person who shot the footage from this (Jeff Smart)
has lost one of his original videotapes from the shoot. I have
a copy, but it's not very good quality, as it went through
an extra generation of videotape and a PAL->NTSC conversion.
And while on the subject of Jeff Smart, I'm sure some people are
wondering whatever happened to his "The Future Was Fantastic"
project that was announced over a decade ago but never released?
Well, it seems like many things have gotten in the way of him
finishing several projects, but he tells me that he STILL hopes
to finish and release this at some point. This should be quite
interesting, as I understand it is narrated by Ed Bishop and
features interviews with people who are no longer with us
(e.g. Mike Billington).
Jeff tells me that he did complete a documentary on TIMESLIP
a few years ago, and this can be purchased at:
