US Base's Report of UFO Crash ' had MoD in a panic'.

Hello! I hope that you are all well and happy.

Whilst I am not a believer in extra-terrestrial UFOs, I thought that
you might like to know about the article in the British broadsheet
newspaper 'The Guardian' that appeared yesterday ( TuesdayAugust
28th).
I quote : "In what was claimed to be Britain's first UFO landing,
Lieutenant Colonel Charles Holt, commander of the US Bentwaters base
near Woodbridge in Suffolk, reported that two of his security
patrolmen had seen 'unusual lights' early in the morning of December
27, 1980.
Thinking that an aircraft had crashed, they reported seeing ' a
strange glowing object in the Rendlesham forest'. ....the object had
a ' pulsing red light on top and a bank of blue lights underneath.
Animals on a nearby farm were said to have gone into a frenzy..."

Hmmmm....maybe they needed Colonel Straker...The above is only a
small part of the newspaper article. I do not have a scanner, but I

someone hasn't beaten me to it by then.

I had seen a TV programme about this incident some years ago, so this
is not the first time this story has surfaced. It all seems most
peculiar...
It has now resurfaced because apparently Dr.David Clarke of Sheffield
University is writing a book on UFOs. He says (in the article): "Here
we had USAF servicemen ...chasing UFOs around a forest in the middle
of the night".

Now, if only they had availed themselves of a SHADOmobile!
