I have informations that "velcro" is *invented* (from George De Mestral) in
1948.
1957 (or '55) is the year of the *patented* of the "velcro".

Martial". Maybe the production team in UFO think to look better the white
"velcro" tape on the white jacket, and not the black "velcro" tape on the
same white Straker's jacket.
