Vehicle

Was the vehicle shown here ( http://www.isoshado.org/wanda/wanda038.jpg ) a gerry Anderson creation, or was it a real production vehicle available at the time?

I realize Straker's car with the gull-wing doors was a fabrication (and in fact the "automatic" doors had to be cranked open by an out-of-the-scene technician). But I wondered about these, especially since you see more than one of them in the UFO series.
I know there were some pretty outlandish vehicles in production in the 1960s. (I recall a three-wheel Messerschmitt vehicle) and I wonder if this one was one of them. We rarely saw them here in the states, except in magazines and on TV.

Anybody know?
