WHATEVER BECAME OF DANIEL CLARK ACTOR?

Brian Serridge
What became of the actor who played Daniel Clark in "The Psychobombs"? I've never seen him in any other TV series, but of course Mike Pratt and Deborah Grant have appeared in lots of stuff.

Has anyone considered doing a "UFO: WHERE ARE THEY NOW?" type book/website. For example, who is the woman staring at Croxley and his wife as he leaves the psychiatrist's office (non speaking part)? Who were the people at Foster's party in "Ordeal"? Who 'played' the part of Daniel Clark's wife in the single bed next to him?

Maybe I'm going a bit too far, but it would make an interesting read.

All The Best,

BRIAN

I just found the answer from 2 weeks ago, and it was just
a link to David Collings entry on IMDB:

http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0172059/

I actually don't know that I've ever seen this actors work
outside of UFO, but living in the US (and not a big watcher
of BBC America or PBS), I haven't seen several of the actors
in UFO in anything other than UFO!

Well, Lieve Peten did start work on the "UFO Cast Before and After"
website, but abandoned it before getting very far. It's still
hosted on my UFO website in its current state:

http://ufoseries.com/films/

I don't really have time to update this, and even if I did, I've
got higher priority UFO website work that isn't getting done... :-)

Oh, and also in the newsletters for the SHADO-USECC fan club,
James Killian wrote a series of articles where he discovered
and reviewed films and TV shows featuring UFO cast members.
But of course that does nobody any good except for those few
of us who still have our newsletters...

There was a lot of UFO fandom which occurred in the 1970s,
1980s, and 1990s, that may not be very apparent to today's
web surfer.

What's the chance of putting some of the articles from the SHADO-USECC (what ever that stands for) newsletters on this site, or somewhere wher they can be accessed by those sad geeks among us (like me) who only re-discovered UFO last year?
If anyone has access to other articles, fanfiction etc, that isn't included in Marc's site or Denise Felt's site it would be great to see it!
WIh interest in the new film growing - let's hope it actually makes it to the screen - it would be good to collect as much 'stuff' on UFO as possible, methinks!

USECC = United States East Coast Control.

I've got a brief description of the club and all of the
newsletters and fanzines this club put out here:

http://ufoseries.com/shado-usecc.html

You can also find scans of the first pages of the newsletters
on the ISOSHADO site:

http://www.isoshado.org/6/6_merchandise_archivio/index.htm

As for putting this stuff on the web, I guess there's the
usual issues:

- someone has to spend the time either scanning - or worse -
optical character recognizing - the articles and posting
them to the web

- someone probably should ask permission from whoever was
running the club at the time or the original author
(although that may be nearly impossible for newsletters
from the 1970s)

Some of the articles I wrote for SHADO-USECC are part of
my UFO website (laserdisc reviews, etc.).

Certainly it might be interesting to make an online version
of UFO fan club newsletters, but certainly that would take
a lot of time to complete!

And Fanderson also has some interesting stuff from old magazines,
convention brochures, convention audio/video, etc., but I have
received complaints in the past from Fanderson staffers when
attempting to upload this stuff to the web (even though it is
unlikely that they will ever reprint or re-release these things
ever again). At least with defunct clubs, it's less likely
that anyone will complain. :-)

oh, sorry, the ISOSHADO link should be this:

http://www.isoshado.org/6/6_merchandise_archivio/new_shado_usecc_print.htm

Some of those scans are "readable"... at least for the first page
of the newsletters (which near the end were photos, anyway)

Absolutely correct Marc. Back when I was doing those articles I would havekilled for a computer and the IMDb!
James Killian aka James K.

Like Marc, I've put the articles I wrote for Helen's SHADOFile on my website. I think the best we can hope for after all this time is that other writers have done the same. Finding them would be the tough part.
Yours,
Denise
Straker, somehow it's always about you.
