Welcome

Mark Davies-3
Would just like to thank Yuchtar (the friendly Klingon) for welcomimg me to the board, and for puting me in touch with David, who responded with enthusiasm to my interest in the model of the UFO.

I,ve been searching the internet ever since searching out Chrome platers of plastic,
mould making techniques, information about resins etc...

Anyone else interested in this aspect of UFO feel free to contact me,I never get bored with it.

As a seperate area for discussion, has anyone tried objectively to put into words why they like UFO so much?
Is it because it was so unique, its imaginative format or perhaps the combination
of glamour and 007 gadgetry (not to mention the girls). For me I think it was the
way in which it infused all of the elements known to exist about UFO,s up until then (the folklore of Flying Saucers) and weaved them into very interesting storylines (storytelling has always fascinated me).And it set the entire world in
a contemporary enviornment.I,m alright with historic or reasonably current seetings, unfortunately I can,t cope with the too distant future, which is maybe why my thoughts seem to be hung up in the two decades around which UFO is set.

Mark
