What were UFO series movie prop alien spacesuits made of?

Does anyone know what materials the UFO series movie prop alien
spacesuits were made of? I read that the red flexible material is
lycra, but what about the helmet and its faceplate, and the control
box on the chest, and the lifesupport pack, and the locking ring at
the neck?
