Hi all,
It seems like it's a good time for UFO-related books... last year
we had the Mike Trim book and also the Cult TV book. This year
we've got the Sylvia Anderson book and also the UFO technical
manual.
But now, I hear there will be yet another interesting new book,
coming out later this year or next, by Alan Shubrook, who
previous Fanderson convention goers will recall has many
interesting behind the scenes stories from the model shop
and special effects studios. The book is still in progress,
but is expected to be hardback, cover the period from
Thunderbirds to UFO, be around 150 pages, and contain
hundreds of previously unpublished behind-the-scenes photos
(including from UFO). A release date and price have not
been set, and the title is not final either (the working
title is THUNDERBIRDS - UNSEEN AND UNTOLD)
I'll pass on more information as I get it...
