Why do they call them "YouFo" instead of "U F O" ?

In my humble opinion, I think you are reading a little too much into this...

With UFO, U.F.O. Ufoe, etc.

I think it's a case of "You say tomato (tomayto) I say tomato (tomarto) ... etc.

It's just a pronunciation thing ... don't stress it.

Saying:

YouFo

might mean

"You F*ck Off"  with the FO part expanded.
