hello,
ive found myself researching the UFO series and stumbling across this forum after recently watching the full series as an adult of 45!!,ive been totally glued to each episode,the music...costumes...the characters..and the mood.
Its provoked memories of a me as a young child probably not understanding it at the time but remembering some of the iconic images of the program.i remember having a talking viewmaster probably mid 70,s with pictures/stories in 3d of the show....fast forward all these years and i cant describe how much enjoyment it has given me and for me the show does not show its age one bit....to the point that i was shocked to see how old it was,and felt sad to find out many of its characters passed away.
I mostly enjoyed the first half of the series with Alec in slightly better than the second half which some of the episodes seemed quite psychedellic but that is easily forgiven being the early 70,s...
Watching it on a big television remastered looks brilliant,but the blue eye liner on Ed its a little too apparent(laf)..

By the way, on a completely different subject, I stumbled across  this page
yesterday -- it has a nice UFO anecdote from Ken Holt (I didn't realize
that Ken Holt was still alive!), and also an interesting photo of his secretary
sitting on the UFO Moonbase set!

Elsewhere in this blog, they refer to a podcast interview with Ken
Holt, who was visual effects studio production manager for some episodes
of UFO.  They didn't have the podcast online anymore, but they sent me
