In a recent UK newspaper an article had the headline "Spinners wait until
minefield explodes". Well, in some parts of the world we need all the help we
can get clearing old landmines, too urgently to quibble about the color of
their spacesuits. Alas, the article was on a sports page and was about a badly
crumbling cricket pitch :-(

That's nothing compared to what happened to him in a Countdown comic-strip UFO
story called "The Snatch" (novelized in the SHADO Library, at
http://www.shadolibrary.org/library/stacks/works/snatch.htm ). There, he was
abducted to the alien homeworld, where he stole a UFO and flew himself back
home, and brought two other abductees back with him.
