konami UFO figures sold out at hlj

shado_con

I just checked the status on my konami UFO order at hlj and it
says "Items Being Processed for Shipping" which I beleive means that
the item is now avaiable. However, it looks like it's sold out at
hlj (see link below).

I doubt they'll make any more of them at all -- in the
past, many of these Japanese items only seem to be
available for pre-order. By the time the release date
hits, they always seem to be sold out and no more are
ever made. Instant collectable!

BTW, I got an e-mail from Hobby Japan saying that
my figures had shipped!

As did I. Hey, I was checking Hobby Japan's website the other day and in
their upcoming listings was Captain Scarlet from Konami! No pictures or
details, though.

I like the heading:

"Konami UFO 6 Fig. P3 Dinky Gerry Thunderbirds"

I wonder if that guy got the Gay Ellis one?

Not really, I wouldn't be surprised if some of the pre-oder lots were
sold to folks that do business on the internet selling stuff on EBAY.

At 24" unless Lt. Ellis is _really_ tall -- say, 12 feet -- that's not
1/6 it's 1/3.

I bet that UFO Alien Figure right below her is upset at being half her size
and only worth $79.99.

The figure of Gay Ellis is 24" tall, which would be more 1/3 scale...

Actually to be a true 1/3 scale model of Gay Ellis It would have to be 21.63
inches tall since Gabrielle Drake is 5 foot 5 and 1/2 inches tall. Guess you
could add a bit for the high heeled boots but not 2.4 inches.
