more box set 2 captures

.. once again I haven't provided helpful filenames. Sorry! But
they are all from The Long Sleep and The Man Who Came Back, and
there are one or two pics of Ed Bishop, Mike Billington and Vladek
Sheybal in there which I dare say some of our female readers will
find to their liking, possibly even downright kerplop-esque.
Check this one out girls (or boys, if you're inclined!) :

It's enough to make a chap insecure about his sexuality.

I noticed that the car on Ed's lip is very visible in this shot:

Interestingly, Ed refers to this scar in the Subsmash commentary,
saying that he got it in the army by talking when he should have
been listening.

I particularly liked this shot:

.. what's wrong with this picture? :)

I've also snapped some of the 'extra feature' material stills
(bubble gum cards, magazines and so on).

Sorry again that they aren't properly labelled. Hope someone
enjoys digging around anyway!

Cheers

Thanks for all the great frame captures, James!

I hope you don't mind that I added a few of these to my
website yesterday (and added your name to Christian's
as a supplier of frame grabs)

As for THE LONG SLEEP flashbacks, in the past I've always
seen these as being very reddish. I'm not sure what "sepia"
is supposed to look like, but I suspect that this is probably
more accurate than what has been seen in the past...

It's a pleasure, thanks for the mention!

Are they supposed to look 'sepia'? I've used that description
for the flashback sequences in TLS before, but that was based on
the old videos! They did look a bit more 'brownish' before,
whereas they are a bit more 'black & white' on the DVDs, but
actually I have a sneaking suspicion that they are supposed to
look a bit more like the old videotapes! I reckon the folks who
remaster images from old 35mm film have a natural aversion to
brown-tinged images and are so conditioned to correcting them
that they couldn't help themselves. I believe the scenes in
Covent Garden and Piccadilly Circus are supposed to suggest an
old, discoloured photograph. But now, they've been 'fixed'!
Oops ..

But in any case - all the episodes look great now, and much
sharper - so no complaints.

I've always seen these scenes described as "sepia", and doing
a quick search on google, I found some websites featuring
sepia photographs and compared them to your frame captures.
The frame captures seemed to have the same characteristics
as the sepia photos...
