movie remake in the works ?

Hi. I'm new here.

I've been getting re-re-acquainted with the series. I first saw the show
back in the day when it aired on CTV here in Canada. Lately my
9-year-old son enjoys some of the episodes as much as I did when I was a
kid!

In the UFO entry <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFO_%28TV_series%29> at
the Wikipedia site, it says: "In May 2009 it was announced that producer
Robert Evans and ITV Global would be teaming up to produce a big screen
adaptation of the series. Ryan Gaudet and Joseph Kanarek are writing the
script which will be set in the year 2020."

Can anyone here provide more info on that?
