I'm sure the deeper fans can answer this authoritatively, but my 2 cents
(right now, pre-DVDs) is that SHADO may have been Henderson's baby -- which
Straker made work and Henderson resents this. Or perhaps Henderson wants to be
on the front line and the higher ups don't want this -- so Straker gets to
save the day and Henderson resents this. Do you get the idea that Henderson is
resentful? :)

I have an Italian sounding name, but I'm American (of Italian descent :). He
could have Anglicized his name when he joined SHADO. Many persons of Asian
origin Anglicize and/or translate their names to a European alphabet to make
things a bit easier (I assume :).
