offer

Robert Stevens
Hi to all fellow UFO fans. I am offering for sale my collection of
UFO, all episodes, on VHS. This is a 13 tape collection (2 episodes
per tape), recorded off of a laser disc. I purchased the collection at
a sci-fi convention a few years ago for $250. All are in very good
condition, come in solid cases, with really nice art work, episode
descriptions on the back, etc. I will try to scan one to send out
samples for people interested. The only flaw is one episode, Kill
Straker I believe, cuts out after about 20 minutes, otherwise the other
25 episodes are 100% complete.

So if anyone is interested please email me privately, so as not to clog
the list up, and we can discuss a deal. I am open to most any
reasonable offer, but was hoping to get $100 at least. So if your not
planning on switching to a DVD format in the near future this might be
a decent investment to see UFO uncut and commercial free. I would also
do my best to get you the lowest shipping, as well as safest.

Thanks!!!

Robert,

Firstly, genuine, original VHS copies can usually be had for less
than that from ebay. Secondly, you are using the list to attempt
to sell pirate material which is available in a legitimate form.
Thirdly, the DVD sets are a far better bet anyway - so I very much
hope that no-one will take you up on your 'offer'.

James

Yes, in the USA you can get the entire series on DVD for $65
from Deep Discount DVD, so I'd say that VHS copies are worthless
these days.

Now, I wonder what the value of the original Japanese laserdiscs
are at this point? Probably not much either... and 5 years ago
you could probably sell them for $2000!
