Hi all,
Someone pointed this out to me -- does this music sound familiar? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1toUQZ-H1U&t=29s Marc |
Mmm.. Heavily based on the UFO theme methinks! Seems a bit cheeky to charge £2.50 for the sheet music: http://www.fabermusicstore.com/Fax-Blues-9563.aspx --

The only cover of the UFO theme I'm aware of is the one done by Rocket Scientists a few years back. I think they may have short-changed the harmony it a bit, but here it is:

I had once compiled them onto a CD-R, and I think there may have been almost 20 of them! But it was probably the most repetitive CD you could ever think of listening to... (and don't ask me for a copy -- for some reason, I seem to have lost everything regarding that CD, unless I mailed a copy to someone... Branko?) Marc |

That's great - thanks! I actually have that Sci-Fi set (from '99). Didn't realize it was an alternate take that they used, but it did sound a bit different. I figured I just wasn't used to hearing it in stereo, which was a nice surprise.

Let's see if this link works: http://www.boosey.com/cr/sample_detail/Easiest-Way-to-Improvise-01-Fax-Blues/12279 Marc |
Hello everybody, I am new in this forum, but not new to the UFO fandom. I want to link you this rather recent cover of the UFO theme. It is in some techno mood. Like if kraftwerk or Ozric Tentacles play the UFO theme. I like it very much.
