Quite right. This seems to sum things up pretty well.
Members have explained why they feel UFO was let down.
I,m certainly not going to add fuel to this fire by finding words to reason the opposite point of view.
Although I do maintain that the show had a narrow premise, and that this led to some contradictions and
inconsistences (just thought I,d slip that in )
Of course there,s hardly any reason to argue this was not due to lack of creative integrity.
Why we like what we do, seems to me nothing to do with
anything you can put into words.
While I might say that I would still watch Reflections over and above any episode of ST,XF etc....I cannot argue in some objective way that UFO is better .
My comments would only be fabrications to defend my allegiance.
The truth, as they say does,nt lie in some well defined area of logic that you can shake in front of an unenlightened audience, but in the experiences of an individual life.
I think I could almost write a book about my fondness and attachment to UFO,but the one overriding impression that
any reader would be left with is that I was probably mad....
yet it would,nt have mattered one bit, because I loved
every minute.
And yes I know its only a television series...is'nt it.
