* I know what you mean about the paper

mine is mostly down the bottom of the conning

re-build most of the left side already.

Sounds like mine! Just watch out when you start sanding! It's
* easy to crack
the thing with minimal pressure, and be very
* careful when cutting tape on
the model when you mask it! Hey,
* by the way, did you get decals
with your kit? If so - wanna sell
* them? ;)
*
* ....straighten
out the blast tube duct! And the hits just keep on

Hey guys;
If you have access to the inside of
the model, a good way to
deal with thin castings is to get fiberglass
matting from an
autoparts or marine store. You can then beef up the thin
areas of
the model from the inside, before working on the outside of
it.
That way you won't have to worry about cracking the casting
by
handling it. Also, the resin has about the same properties as
the
plasic, so if you accidentally sand through it because it's too
thin,
or must cut or machine it into a better shape, it can be
blended well with
the origional material.

Given a choice, I'd rather drill a small hole in the beast and fill the
empty space with polyester resin, but I'm afraid that the heat from the
chemical curing process might damage the whole thing!

In a relative way
And came back the previous night!
