Actually German dubbing is always done a lot better than French dubbing. I
used to watch The Saint (Le Saint :-) dubbed in French when it first came
out (I still pronounce Simon Templar the French way), quite confusing when
afterwards one sees (and hears) it with the original actors speaking. They
sound odd then.
I never like dubbing, mind you, but in France it seems one hears the same
voices over and over and over again.

I'm not German speaking but I speak German. Kind of. Started learning
German the same time I learned English, when I was 16.
