Here's an annoying question I always wondered...


S.I.D. reports "UFO's Bearing ####. Speed SOL Decimal
9."

What is SOL (pronounced saul, or sawl)? What do the
numbers mean in as far as bearings are concerned? Does
decimal 9 mean 9/10ths of what ever SOL (Saul, or
SAWL)
means?
