There was an attempt in 1996 to do a UFO2 series or movie, which
unfortunately did not come to fruition. The series premise is, in my humble
opinion, a precursor in many ways to today's X-Files and I feel the
storyline, characters and ideas are very interesting. One thread of comment
on this site has been how many of UFO and Star Trek's techno-gadgets have
been developed in the "real world" - items such as cordless phones, Delorean
autos (the gullwinged cars), video-conferencing, - UFO and Trek -
communicators, hypo-sprays for medications, tricorders, etc.

I've been e-mailing Mike Billington, Gerry Anderson and the fellow who first
tried to put the reunion series together recently - I just found these sites
myself about 3-4 weeks ago! Mike's site is available on a link through
Marc's site in What's New, I think.
