A fan-produced CD-R containing 70 minutes of music from UFO
does exist, and I assume that this is what Jason is listening

The Fanderson UFO soundtrack CD is, as Gareth states, something
that's still in the rumor stage, and is *not* out already.

And yes, the UFO theme on Sci Fi's Greatest Hits Vol 3 is not
"the real thing", but it's close. They incorrectly used "take 3"
when the real take was "take 4", and whoever mixed the various
instrument tracks didn't make any attempt to match the original
mix, so it sounds a bit strange...
