If it makes you feel any better Sheila, it think it depends on the model
of Nokia you own as to whether you can compose your own tunes or not!!
I've got an 8210, which doesn't do it - err, unless I've missed
something vital! :((

Having said all that, I know there is a programme for Nokia that you can
download & try for free for a while, that you can compose tunes on and
also design your own graphics, which can then be transferred to your
phone via cable or infra-red...
