No-it wasn't any of the main cast. Just a un-named female extra playing a
dead body being recycled for organs or maybe it was food (Soylent Green is
people!).

No Sylvia wasn't the one who did the costumes in Space:1999. That was Rudi
Gurnreich whose only claim to fame is that he designed the topless swimsuit
in the mid-sixties.

"No second series of UFO for this?!", was my thoughts also. I think it was
becuse the marketing people in New York told them that they did want another
season of UFO but they wanted a sci-fi series like Star Trek and everyone
tried to copy it. This seems very apparent in the second season when they
brought in the character of Maya to be their Spock and they started using
ripoff's of Star Trek scripts. Compare the plots of The Ultima Computer and
Brian the Brain for example. Too many cooks do spoil the TV series
especially when among them are those no talent clowns who ran ITC NY in those
days.
