I'm totally fascinated by anything to do with ancient Egypt, and in fact I'm
going to be going there in Sept 2002 (a trip which includes a 6 day cruise
up the Nile - I can't wait!). I placed one of my UFO stories in Egypt too
(Shifting Sands on the SHADO Library). Interesting that folks have been
discussing Straker in terms of being a Roman, and Foster in terms of being
an Egyptian - one could write a neat story about Straker being a
reincarnation of Caesar and Foster being a reincarnation of Marc Antony
(both of whom fell to the charms of Queen Cleopatra). I don't know how one
would work it into the modern day aspect of UFO, but it's worth
consideration if you're into the fantasy angle of it all. Hey Stevo - wanna
take this assignment on?
