Back in the early 1990's, this crazy scene came to me
in a dream which I shared with my wife, Jennifer, again
over dinner last night.

Jenn thought it was something I should post to the group so here goes :)

1.
MOONBASE INT
LT.ELLIS seated at her station
playing a video game with
Col. Paul Foster. (Dream's rated G)
Glancing up, she sees an
alien outside the sphere.
Startled, she sounds red alert
and calls the interceptors into
action.

LT.ELLIS:
We have red alert, interceptors immediate
launch -

COL. FOSTER:
Delay that one, Gay.
Wait..it looks like he's...
(Before he can finish the description, we
have a CU on the alien as he removes a
boom box and places it atop of a moon rock.)

ALIEN:
(Holding up one finger, signaling moonbase
to pause while he gets set. He presses the
the play button)

(There's a wide angle shot of other
moonbase officers gathering at
Lt.Ellis' station looking on watching
the alien in the red jammies. Over the
intercom, the 'Marcarena' is heard loud
and clear as the alien begins doing the
dance with precision. The crew bursts into
laughter. Cmdr. Straker enters in his bath
robe very annoyed)

STRAKER:

I thought I told you all..
No listening to music while on watch!

COL. FOSTER:
Sir, you have to take a look at this..
He's a bloody riot!

LT.ELLIS:
He's a wonderful dancer!
(The moonbase crew begin in clap in
rhythm to the song as Straker pushes
to the front to observe. All is well
till alien attempts to lift his hand
behind his helmet, he accidentally
smashes the faceplate as the liquid
bursts out)

STRAKER:
(A look of concern)
Well!!!
Just don't sit there colonel,
get the duct tape!

(At this point I woke up) :)
