Hi, Yuctar,

Worldwide VCRs can always be found for sale on eBay. They usually sell for
more than $100 dollars though (more like $400-$500). I suspect we don't
have the lower priced models because there is no real market for them. The
models that are available are higher end.

Say, if you run down to Circut City you can pick up the APEX AD-1500 for
$79.99, which is an excellent machine for the price. Not only will it play
PAL DVDs (and some, but not all, can be hacked to be region and macrovision
free), it plays VCDs and SVCDs as well. I've been busily downloading Buffy
the Vampire slayer episodes on VCD for a few weeks now.

Is it even more complicated now that I've tossed in a couple more formats
to think about?
