I don't know. All I know is that when I put the discs
in to my Daewoo DVD player, I was anticipating having
to change the region code from the secret menu AND
having to try out the PAL/NTSC switch on the remote.
But when the machine fired up the disc, I had to do
neither. The player has a PAL/NTSC auto-switch but I'm
also able to do it manually---but when I tried the PAL
setting, the picture went BxW and distorted. On NCTS,
it was fine. I don't get it myself, but...I'm NOT
complaining!
